FEATURES
The main building of NEWTREEBNB is constructed with Architectural concrete(or fair-faced concrete) formwork to create its appearance.
This architecture was originated in Japan and is commonly used in the design of contemporary architecture. The characteristics of Architectural concrete include:
- It has a modern and futuristic feel and is an important expression of modernist architecture.
- The exterior of the building structure is smooth and flat, with a high degree of consistency and integrity.
The interior design of NEWTREEBNB features numerous of Taiwanese cypress wood and warm colors that create a relaxing, nature-inspired atmosphere. Visitors can also catch a whiff of the scent of the cypress wood.
The another spotlight of NEWTREEBNB is the deciduous cypress.
The deciduous cypress is a coniferous tree that sheds its needle-like leaves in the fall, hence its name. The tree has a narrow and conical shape, with straight and upright branches that are arranged in regular tiers, giving it an attractive and symmetrical appearance.
The appearance of the deciduous cypress varies marvelously with the changing seasons.
Spring: The Deciduous cypress begins to sprout new leaves in spring. The new leaves are light green and very tender, giving people a sense of vitality.
Summer: Summer is the season when the Deciduous cypress grows the fastest. At this time, the crown is dense, the branches are lush, and the whole tree looks green and prosperous.
Autumn: Autumn is the mature period of the Deciduous cypress. At this time, the crown shows a golden or reddish-brown color, appearing elegant and majestic.
Winter: Winter is the time when the Deciduous cypress enters its dormant period. At this time, the crown becomes sparser, presenting a simple and clean beauty.
Yilan International Children’s Folklore and Folkgame Festival(right next to NEWTREEEBNB)

The festival was first held in 1996 and has since become one of the largest children’s folklore festivals in Asia, attracting visitors and participants from all over the world. It typically takes place in July and August, spanning over a month and featuring a wide variety of activities and events.
